Former Bank of America and Charter Bank Executive Joins Regal Financial Bank Board
SEATTLE, Washington – Randy C. James has been unanimously elected to the board of directors of Regal Financial Bank. James was most recently the founder and lead director of Charter Bank headquartered in Bellevue, Washington.
“I am very excited about joining the board of Regal Financial Bank,” said James. “They have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and they are a leader in small business banking. They focus on providing business banking service and support that you can’t get from most major banks. They go the extra mile and it shows in their business performance results. This is an exciting organization to be part of,” he said.

James has served in positions such as worldwide director of marketing for Bank of America, chairman and chief executive officer of Bank of America Oregon and vice-chairman of Seafirst Bank.
He was also a founding director of the University of Washington Executive MBA program and was president of the Pacific Coast Banking School. He received his undergraduate degree in communications and a teaching certificate in 1969 from the U.W.
Regal Financial Bank is a Washington-state chartered bank with offices in Seattle, Kent, Las Vegas and Boise. At September 30, 2007, Regal Financial Bank had assets of $125 million, loans of $123 million and deposits of $119 million.
