SEATTLE, 17 November 2005
– – In a decisive move for
an independent community bank, Regal Financial Bank announces
the opening of loan production offices in two selected
growth markets: Las Vegas, NV and Boise, ID.
Regal’s President & CEO, Mr.
Jesse T. Tam, stated, “From the beginning, it has
been our long-term strategy to establish a regional business
banking presence. The Regal Team has worked diligently
since the bank opened to build a solid platform here in
Seattle. Now that the bank is well-established and performing
solidly, we are very excited to be implementing this next
strategic phase.”
Carrying out this strategy has not only
involved careful study, it has also involved existing
relationships in the selected cities. One of Regal’s
Directors is based in Las Vegas and is providing support
and referrals for the bank’s new operation there.
To establish Regal’s Las Vegas loan production office,
a seasoned banker with several years of commercial lending
experience in Nevada has been hired. He will be tasked
with growing Regal’s loan portfolio and corporate
presence in Las Vegas’ rapidly-growing commercial
market.
Boise, ID, is another rapidly-growing
city, one in which Mr. Tam has lived and worked, and where
he continues to maintain and develop business relationships.
In that market, Regal has hired two career bankers to
establish Regal’s Idaho loan production office.
Both will begin developing commercial lending relationships
for the bank in the Boise metropolitan area.
