NEW ACCOUNTING MANAGER NAMED AT REGAL FINANCIAL BANK
SEATTLE, Washington; April 21, 2011
— Regal Financial
Bank
announced the hiring of a new Assistant Vice President and
Accounting Manager, Rika Laing. Her responsibilities include
the preparation and analysis of the bank’s financial
statements, reports, and internal accounting processes and
controls.

Director, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer commented
that “With all the changes taking place in bank accounting
and regulation, we are pleased to have Rika handling these
responsibilities. She is a trained professional with
over seven years of community bank experience that will
enable her to meet our financial reporting requirements now
and as we grow in the future.”
Most recently, Ms. Laing was Assistant Vice President and
Accounting Manager at Umpqua Bank. Prior to that, she was
with EvergreenBank where she held a number of positions in
finance, including Assistant Vice President, Controller and
Accounting Manager, and Financial Accountant. Ms. Laing
successfully led the financial systems conversion and
reconciliations from EvergreenBank to Umpqua Bank. Her years
of accounting management experience and solid understanding
of financial principles will be an asset to Regal Financial
Bank’s finance management team.
